Why Business Cards Won’t Go Out of Style

Business cards have been a staple every business has used for centuries. However, with many things “going digital” these days, it begs the question, “Are business cards still relevant?” In this post, we will explain why in fact business cards are just as important now as ever.

Like in any aspect of your business, thinking outside the box can get you ahead of your competition. Let me give you an example. Imagine if you add an irresistible offer on the back of a business card. You have now turned a boring, same-old business card into a valuable coupon or voucher that will likely be saved until it is used.

Traditionally, business cards have been used as a calling card or leave behind. Imagine what you could do with a pocket sized card when you think outside of the box. We have been using this super sleek size to get offers in prospects hands, send coupons and gift cards, among other things.

Using business card sized handouts can be quite effective for many applications, especially when you have mere seconds to give a prospect something valuable to take away. Think about trade shows. How many business cards do folks “collect” that are sorted through after the fact and likely pitched in the trash? Lots! I have done it myself. Now, imagine getting a crazy valuable coupon or offer on the back of one of those cards you would like to use one day.

Boom! A business card was effective, not just your calling card. The size is just right for so many applications, but maybe we should stop calling them business cards!!
